Booking Terms

Family Bookings must also include a responsible adult member who is at least 25 years of age. 
 
The key to your caravan is not usually available until 2 pm on the day of your arrival. Check-in is at East Gate, unless otherwise advised. Here you will be given the key to the caravan and passes into the complex. If you arrive early, you are welcome to use all the facilities on the Butlins complex until the holiday home is ready for you. The key must also be returned to the same place as collection.

In order that the caravan can be checked and made available for the next booking, we would kindly request that you vacate the caravan by 10 am on the day of departure.  

The caravan will be cleaned at the end of your stay. However, we would respectfully request that you leave the caravan in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. All dishes, etc, must be washed up and put away and unused food & drink removed from the fridge/freezer and cupboards. 

SHOULD ANY SPILLAGE OR SICKNESS OCCUR ON THE CARPET OR UPHOLSTERY, PLEASE USE THE CARPET SPRAY CLEANER PROVIDED TO REMOVE OR MINIMISE STAINING. THIS CAN BE FOUND IN THE CUPBOARD BENEATH THE KITCHEN SINK.
FOR STUBBORN STAINS AND IN ALL CASES OF SICKNESS, PLEASE CALL THE CLEANING CONTRACTOR, JAMIE ANDERSON ON 01643 707550 OR 07721 484843 AND HE WILL ARRANGE FOR THE CARPET OR UPHOLSTERY TO BE CLEANED. THERE WILL BE A CHARGE OF £25 TO COVER THE ADDITIONAL CLEANING COSTS, WHICH WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SHOES INSIDE THE CARAVAN TO MINIMISE MARKING AND STAINING THE CARPET.

The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakages or damage to the caravan or its contents during their stay. We do request a security deposit of (but not limited to) £100, which is refundable within 21 days of departure (subject to no damages, etc). This is payable at the time of paying the final balance, and we reserve the right to deduct the cost of any loss, damage, excessive cleaning, etc, at our discretion.

Please observe young children with crayons, etc, as drawing on the walls of the caravan will result in a specialist clean or redecoration, which will be charged for from the security deposit.

For the comfort of our quests, all mattresses and pillows are covered with soft, noise free PVC covers. Please do not remove these. If they are removed, any soiled items will need to be replaced from the security deposit. 

Towels and bed linen are not provided. We will provide pillows and duvets, but not sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels or tea towels.

Should you book your holiday 8 weeks or less before the start date, the full amount will be due.

Butlins is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance may be asked to leave, forfeiting the rest of their holiday.    

Please note that the booking deposit of £100 is non-refundable.  We reserve the right to re-let the caravan if the final balance is not received by the due date confirmed.
 
The price of your holiday includes passes into the Butlins complex (with the exception of the Spring Harvest and Elim Events). Details of how to collect the passes and caravan key will be sent to you upon receipt of the full holiday amount. 

If you should lose the key, a charge of £95 will be made to replace the caravan lock and key

Any changes to the advertised entertainment or facilities, on the resort, are beyond our control, and we cannot accept any responsibility for this. 

Should your accommodation become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, and we are unable to find comparative accommodation for you, a full refund will be given. 

We cannot accept liability for the loss or damage of any personal items. We recommend that you purchase some form of holiday insurance if you require it, as there is no insurance included in the price of your holiday.

SMOKING OR PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE CARAVAN. IF THIS RULE IS NOT ADHERED TO, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE CARAVAN WITH NO REFUND ON ANY UNUSED DAYS.  YOU WILL ALSO FORFEIT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT TO PAY FOR IONISATION & 
SPECIALIST CLEANING.

CANCELLATION

Should you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply, however, we would strongly recommend that you purchase a UK Travel policy to cover you against unforeseen circumstances.

56 days or more -  loss of booking deposit only
29 to 55 days  -  no refund unless a replacement booking is found
28 days or less  -  no refund
